Tomasz Malinowski

Member of the Supervisory Board

Tomasz Malinowski graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, majoring in Finance and Banking. He is a certified auditor and member of CFA Institute.

Between 2002 and 2005, Tomasz Malinowski worked at Deloitte at the financial institutions audit department, where he audited financial statements from leasing companies, brokerage houses and banks.

Between 2005 and 2010, he was employed at the transaction services department at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he took part in due diligence analyses and provided advice with regard to other aspects related to takeover transactions. At the same time, he participated in or managed about 60 due diligence analyses in various sectors, in particular the sectors of production and commercial companies and the financial sector.

Since 2011, Tomasz Malinowski has been a partner at TS Partners, which deals with transaction consulting, in particular with due diligence analyses as well as valuations and financial modelling.

Heiko Arnold

Member of the Supervisory Board

Heiko Arnold obtained a PhD in chemistry from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He is an international C-level executive with over 25 years of experience in the chemical and process industry. His expertise is focused on R&D, production, technology and large capital investments.

He started his career in BASF, initially in R&D. In 2002 he was delegated to China to lead part of a greenfield investment project. After project completion and successful operation he transferred to Hong Kong where he held various positions as Vice President in the Technology and Operations field.

After BASF Heiko Arnold held two C-level positions in Lenzing AG (2017-2020), an Austrian cellulosic fiber producer and Aurubis AG (2020-2024), a German non-ferrous metals producer and recycler. The CTO role in Lenzing included all technical functions, while the COO role in Aurubis AG also include raw material purchasing and product sales in the area of primary copper production.

Currently, Heiko Arnold is an independent technology consultant, advising technology start-ups on their development for a new industrial process and an international commodity producer on a large capital project comprising established technologies.

Małgorzata Badowska

Member of the Supervisory Board

Małgorzata Badowska has extensive experience serving business entities. As a partner at GESSEL, KOZIOROWSKI Law Firm of Legal Advisers and Attorneys at Law, she leads the Banking and Finance practice. Her expertise lies in transactions related to obtaining financing, and she provides advice at every stage of these transactions.

Małgorzata collaborates with both funding providers—such as banks, financial institutions, and private debt funds—and the beneficiaries of that financing. Her team is responsible for preparing and negotiating credit documentation, bond issuance documents, and security documentation.

Additionally, she manages debt restructuring processes for corporate groups, oversees securitization transactions, and handles transactions involving the acquisition of receivable portfolios, including the purchase of bank receivables. She also participates in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions conducted by the firm in the private market, working alongside private equity and venture capital funds.

David Kemp

David is an experienced Non-Executive and Executive Director with global companies across energy, software and construction markets.  In addition to Elemental, he is Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and chair of the Audit Committee at Craneware Group, Non-Executive Director and chair of the M&A committee at Tekmar Group, Advisor to the Chair and Board at Consolidated Contractors Group and Trustee and Treasurer at the children’s charity, Barnardo’s. 

Over the course of his executive career, he held CFO and senior positions at international energy and industrial companies including at John Wood Group plc, Technip and Hess Corporation and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
