POLAND

E-waste containers and educational activities

Terra Recycling collects small electronics in selected regions of Poland. Anyone can throw used equipment into a special container near their place of residence. These containers also contain instructions on what devices may end up in them. This builds awareness of responsible e-waste management.

The activities also include a series of educational trips for school-age and preschool children, who have the opportunity to visit Elemental Group companies located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. During the trips, the principles of plant operation, methods for processing waste electrical and electronic equipment, and the benefits of recycling are discussed. During the visits, children have the opportunity to observe the raw materials recovery process and learn about the possibilities of reusing materials. Elemental Group experts guide them through the world of recycling.

Employees of Polish companies have been participating in the ‘Szlachetna Paczka’ campaign for years, helping those most in need. Every year, support goes to families in cities where the Group operates. In 2024, assistance was provided to families from Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Bydgoszcz, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, and Zawiercie.
